GUSTAVE TIGER (Madžarska)

 Nekateri ob omembi Gustava in Madžarske še vedno dobimo pred oči legendarno risanko, nove generacije pa so in bodo vse bolj animirane s strani živahnega novodobnega novovalovskega post-punka benda Gustave Tiger. Kar so bobnar Péter, basist in vokalist Csaba ter kitarist in vokalist Gergő začeli leta 2013 v power art-punk trio kombinaciji, se je s prihodom energične pevke Erike nalezlo pop senzibilnosti in rezultiralo v albumu "At the Idyllʼs End", ki prekipeva od melodičnih, punkovsko nabitih in psihedelično odbitih spevnih komadov.

GUSTAVE TIGER (Hungary)

 While the mention of Gustave and Hungary still conjures up the legendary cartoon for many of us, younger generations are and will become increasingly animated by the vibrant contemporary new wave post-punk by the band Gustave Tiger. What drummer Péter, bassist and vocalist Csaba and guitarist and vocalist Gergő started in 2013 in a power art-punk trio combo has been infected by pop sensibility with the arrival of energetic singer Erika, and resulted in the LP "At the Idyllʼs End”, which is brimming over with melodic, punk-charged and psychedelically-whacky singalongs.

ŽEN (Hrvaška)

Avdiovizualna zasedba Žen, ustanovljena leta 2010 v Zagrebu, v živo združuje zapletene aranžmaje in zatopljene vizualije, s tem pa ustvarja popolnoma avtentično shoegaze post-rock izkušnjo. Skupina igrivo razčlenjuje spolne stereotipe in povezuje meje avdio ter vizualne umetnosti, skozi vokalne harmonije, potopljene v progresivno sožitje kitar, basa, bobnov in sinta, pa poslušalca popelje na potovanje. Če bi jih skušali popredalčkati, bi bila še najbližje kompleksna oblika indie rocka s pridihi različnih slogovnih in žanrskih značilnosti, od post-rocka do shoegazea, math rocka, retro synthwavea ter eksperimentalne elektronike. Bend je odigral že mnogo koncertov po celi Evropi in si pridobil zvesto publiko.

ŽEN (Croatia)

Formed in Zagreb in 2010, audio-visual band Žen combines intricate arrangements and immersive live visuals to create a fully authentic shoegaze post-rock experience. Žen playfully dissects gender stereotypes and connects the boundaries of audio and visual art, evoking journeys through vocal harmonization submerged in a progressive symbiosis of guitar, bass, drums and synths. If we were to try to define them by genre, the closest we would get is a complex form of indie rock, informed by various stylistic and genre characteristics, ranging from post-rock to shoegaze, math rock, vintage synthwave and experimental electronics. Žen has played numerous concerts and gained a loyal audience in the broader European region.

WHITE MILES (Avstrija)

Pričevanja pravijo, da je na Bevogovem Who Cares for Beer festivalu ob vsej dobri muziki in pivu pozornost najbolj uspelo pritegniti dvojcu kitaristke/pevke in bobnarja, ki sta s svojim eksplozivnim stoner blues rockom razturila in osupnila zbrano publiko izbranega okusa. In to ni bila ne prva ne edina, ki jo je sezul udarni šus tega tirolskega dua. Medina in Lofi sta kitaro in bobnarske palčke prekrižala že leta 2005, zares pa sta na sceno stopila leta 2011, ko se je začel vse hitreje širiti glas o njunem intenzivnem koncertnem razdajanju. Prišel je vse do menedžmenta Courtney Love, sledile so evropske in britanske turneje s Courtney, Johnom Garcio (Kyuss) in Eagles of Death Metal. White Miles se ne ustavljata, borita se naprej z novim albumom "Duel", na katerem, kot pravita sama, potiskata eden drugega na naslednji nivo, skozi bitko med srcem in dušo, bendom in publiko. To je dvoboj, ki ne more biti niti izgubljen niti dobljen.

WHITE MILES (Austria)

The word on the street is that despite all the excellent tunes and beer at Bevog’s Who Cares for Beer festival, the main draw was this guitarist/singer and drummer duo, which dazzled and amazed the gourmet crowd with its explosion of stoner blues rock. And they weren't the first, nor the last to be blown away by this hard-hitting Austrian duo. Medina and Lofi first crossed guitar pick and drum stick in 2005, but really started making strides on the music scene in 2011, when word of their intense concert shenanigans started spreading like wildfire, even reaching the management of Courtney Love. This was followed by European and UK tours with Courtney, John Garcia (Kyuss) and Eagles of Death Metal. White Miles are showing no signs of quitting, fighting on with their new album "Duel", which sees them pushing each other to the next level, in a showdown between the heart and the soul, the band and the public. It's a fight that can be neither lost nor won.
